My Personal Review

The little prince has always been one of my favourite books. I've had a copy of this book with me since I was a child. I remember the first time I saw its cover, I was 9-year-old and I was with my grandmother in a supermarket, we saw a collection of pocket-size books, The Little Prince was the one I fall in love with. So she bought it for me. For years I never opened the book to read it, just to look at the illustrations, I think part of me didn't want that memory to end with the story of the book, so I just carried that little book with me anywhere I went, every time we moved to a new house, that little book of a little prince was always with me.

It was not until I was in my 20s that I decided to read this beautiful book. It made me feel so many emotions, and think of many things about life, realising that I was reading that book just on time, the waiting was worth it as I was now able to understand its content because of my life experiences.

Chapter XXI is very special to me because of the way it explains life situations, it has made me to compere my loved ones with roses that I've tamed in my life and therefore they are special to me. And when I can help someone I do it because I know that that person might be someone else's rose and therefore that person is special too. And just like that, I'm inspired to make my world a bit better by showing love and compassion.

I recommend this book to anyone who wants to enjoy a story (and funny illustrations too) about love and life facts. I'm sure any reader would enjoy this book.
